Old Master MURAL for a Dining room after the painting of
French Master Painter Nicholas Lancret (1690-1743)
The photo below shows the original painting that was used as a design inspiration for this Old Master mural painted by Nicholas Lancret. It is a master piece of the Rococo time period in France.
The photo below shows the old world mural completely done. The length is about 15 feet, the height about 5-6 feet.
The mural had been designed carefully to match the style of the home with the help of an Interior Designer. The color of the ballerina’s dress is matching perfectly the curtains of the dining room. The original painting has less greenery so the muralist had to come up with extra designs for the left and right sides.
Why choosing an Old Master Mural
Many of the Rococo paintings are featuring lush landscapes and gardens, so does the original ballerina painting. Such a background creates a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere to the space. The Rococo time was very special. It was the time of love letters and splendid architecture. There was no hurry, everything deserved the time needed. The old master mural adds exactly this to the room: a peaceful and charming touch that is timeless.
